10 Lines on Martyrs Day

  1. To pay respects to our freedom fighters, we celebrate Martyrs Day on March 23rd and January 30th.
  2. On March 23rd, we celebrate Martyrs Day for our heroes who sacrificed their life at a very young age for the betterment of the country.
  3. On 23rd march 1931, 3 young freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru were arrested for throwing bombs in the assembly.
  4. They were hanged in the Lahore jail and cremated on the banks of the Satluj River.
  5. Martyrs day is also celebrated on January 30th for the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
  6. He is known as the father of the nation who plays a very important role in the independence of the country.
  7. He was assassinated by Nathuram Godse in the year 1948 and Nathuram Godse was sentenced to death on November 8th, 1948.
  8. The government declared this day as Shaheed Diwas or Martyrs Day.
  9. On this day, schools and colleges organize events and functions and prepare performances on the bravery and sacrifice of the freedom fighters.
  10. These days are celebrated in India to pay respects to our freedom fighters and to remember their sacrifice.
