10 LINES ON MADAM BHIKAIJI CAMA

 1) Madam Cama was the first woman who hoisted Indian flag in Foreign, Germany (1907).


2) Her marriage was not successful as her husband supports British culture, while Madam Cama was a true Nationalist.

3) She spent most of her time in social activities and charities.


4) She had been part of the Indian National Congress.


5) The first version of Indian flag was designed by Madam Cama along with Shyamji Krishna Varma.


6) She went to London in 1902 regarding health issues; there she met Dadabhai Naoroji (Indian political leader).


7) Britishers warned Madam Cama that she could be allowed to India if she would no longer be part of any nationalist activities.


8) She refused britishers warning and was banned in India.


9) She moved to Paris, and co-founded “The Paris Indian Society”.


10) Madam Cama also worked for women welfare. She donated most of her assets in the Avabai girl orphanage.
