 1) She was named as Hazrat Mahal after the birth of his child.

2) Birjis Qadr was son of Hazrat Mahal and Wajid Ali.

3) Begum Hazrat Mahal was Shia Islam by religion.

4) Her father was slave under Ghulam Hossein Ali Khan.

5) After her husband was exiled in Calcutta, she took charge of the Awadh.

6) Begum Hazrat Mahal seized Awadh again by defeating Britishers.

7) She played an important role in Indian Rebellion of 1857.

8) She was the leader of India’s first war of Independence.

9) After Britishers occupied most part of Awadh, she moved to Nepal.

10) Begum Hazrat Mahal’s grave is located at Kathmandu (capital of Nepal) near Jama Masjid.
