  1) Kanwad Jalabhishek is a part of Kanwad Yatra that takes place in the month of Sawan. 2) The journey starts from the full moon of the month of Ashadha. Water is poured on Shivling throughout the month of monsoon. 3) Devotees carry a kanwar and wear clad to cover the distance and offer Holy Ganga water. 4) Offering Ganga water pleases Lord Shiva as he consumed poison. 5) It is believed that the poison came out during the churning of the ocean in the month of Sawan. 6) The poison started affecting the world and Lord Shiva. 7) After consuming the poison, Lord Bholnath came to be called Neelkanth. 8) The world was saved by consuming poison, but Lord Shiva's body started burning. 9) Seeing the effects, the gods started offering water to him. 10) People from this belief offer Jal to Shivling and worship Lord shiva.

10 LINES ON INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WORLD’S INDIGENOUS PEOPLES

  1) The International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples marks the date of 9 th   August. 2) The day is meant to raise awareness about indigenous peoples and protect their rights. 3) The indigenous people are native people who belong to different ethnic groups. 4) The indigenous peoples get colonized by other ethnic groups. 5) The day has the history way back to December 1994. 6) It was announced by the General Assembly of the United Nations. 7) Around 470 million indigenous people are currently present around the world in 90 countries. 8) The day is celebrated with a theme every year. 9) The theme for 2021 was “Leaving no one behind: Indigenous people and the call for a new social contract. 10) The importance of this theme is to encourage societies about the Indigenous people.

10 Lines on Martyrs Day

To pay respects to our freedom fighters, we celebrate Martyrs Day on March 23rd and January 30th. On March 23rd, we celebrate Martyrs Day for our heroes who sacrificed their life at a very young age for the betterment of the country. On 23rd march 1931, 3 young freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru were arrested for throwing bombs in the assembly. They were hanged in the Lahore jail and cremated on the banks of the Satluj River. Martyrs day is also celebrated on January 30th for the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He is known as the father of the nation who plays a very important role in the independence of the country. He was assassinated by Nathuram Godse in the year 1948 and Nathuram Godse was sentenced to death on November 8th, 1948. The government declared this day as Shaheed Diwas or Martyrs Day.   1) A social media is a website or a platform where people of different groups and communities share their ideas, thoughts and beliefs. 2) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other web sharing platforms are regarded as Social Media. 3) It allows people to communicate and keeps updating about recent events. 4) It gives people opportunity to share their thoughts by the mean of photos, videos and texts. 5) Social Media can be used as a good business promoter. 6) It helps to identify and reach the audience quickly. 7) Teenagers generally find themselves inferior as they believe that social media is their world. 8) Many people feel peer pressure just because they wonder to have lifestyles like their friends and known ones. 9) It creates a sense of FOMO, Fear of Missing Out. 10) People get addicted to it and spend their maximum time enjoying it.

10 LINES ON FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES OF INDIA

  1) The fundamental duties are added to the Constitution of India in the year 1976. 2) They were added in the 42 nd  amendment of the Indian Constitution. 3) The 42 nd  Amendment is considered to be a historical amendment implemented by the constitution of India. 4) The citizens of India are supposed to respect the constitution. 5) All the citizens are bound to obey the National Flag and Anthem. 6) The fundamental duties ask the citizen to safeguard public property. 7) It has a provision that deals with the situation to protect the culture of India. 8) These fundamental duties were added upon the recommendation of the Swaran Singh Committee. 9) There is a total of 11 fundamental duties. 10) Initially, there were 10 fundamental duties and 11 th  was added in the year 2002.

  1) e-RUPI is a payment method that will be cashless and contactless. 2) It will be delivered to beneficiaries who have mobile phones. 3) e-RUPI is like prepaid gift vouchers and will be redeemed at designated places. 4) It will not require any physical interface. 5) The onboard banks will be responsible for issuing it. 6) It is launched to ensure leakproof deliveries of welfare services. 7) It will be based on QR codes and SMS. 8) It won’t require any intermediary. 9) It is a one-time payment mechanism. 10) It will not require any card or digital payments app.

10 LINES ON SAWAN SHIVRATRI

  1) Shiv Purana says special worship of Lord Shiva fulfills the wishes of the devotees on Sawan Shivratri. 2) The 2021 Sawan Shivratri is on 6 th  August and will continue till 7 th  August. 3) Devotees offer Holy Water to Lord Shiva. 4) The 4 th  date of Krishna Paksha of every month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. 5) Worshiping Lord Shiva on this day is considered beneficial for the devotees. 6) Devotees dedicate their times to Lord Shiva, chanting mantras and hymns. 7) Worshipping Goddess Parvati is an important part of this day. 8) Fasting on this day can lead devotees to have suitable grooms/brides. 9) Shivaratri of Sawan month is considered very important in Sanatan Dharma. 10) The Sawan becomes more auspicious as three events Sawan, Sawan Monday and Sawan Shivratri falls in the same month.
